How Do you Remember?

We all hold memories of those that have passed in our life, that are part of our history, and part of the fabric of society. This Sunday in honor of Memorial Day and all our fallen soldiers, we will hold a candle lighting service to honor those that have gone before us, and those from our own families who have touched our lives with their life. We can hold the memory of all of our loved ones when we remember – for they are just a flicker away! Come join us for this powerful personal candle lighting service.

The Turning Point

There comes a time (actually many times) in our life when we reach a point where our human efforts are not meeting our needs or making us happy and fulfilled. Like the prodigal son story in the Bible, we hit bottom and "come to ourself" and realize that the life we are living is causing tremendous suffering. This is a turning point when we "remember" who we are and that we have a loving parent (Father-Mother God) who loves and accepts us…and is waiting for us to "come home" again…waiting with open arms to give us our true inheritance. Let the rejoicing and celebrating begin as you realize this is also offered to you, too. You can never be separate from God who loves you with an everlasting love.

We anticipate first the sprouts and then the mature plants. So what about treating our own spiritual unfoldment in the same manner? How about our own preparation for our garden of thoughts so that we can plant seeds that will mature into a full and vibrant spiritual life?
Thank you to our wonderful community who came to plant seeds of love and anticipate how love will grow in our community and in our own hearts. We are truly blessed as a community!

Children / Youth / Family Programs10:00 a.m. Children's Church:
Fellowship Hall Care for infants and toddlers is available through an advance request. Call or email our office with the number and ages of your children by the Wednesday before the Sunday you plan on attending. If you have middle and high school age youths, we would be honored to work with both parents and youths to implement Uniteen and Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) programs in the near future. We are looking for volunteers to work with our children a minimum of 1 Sunday per month. We envision providing more than just childcare: reading, arts & crafts, and educational free play. |
