Dear Friends,
This week our community comes together to celebrate our beloved minister, Susan Gumm, as she receives her ordination at Unity Village. Susan has had her Divinity degree for many years, this week she completes her Field Ministry program through Unity. Many members of our Unity on the Avenue community will be at Unity Village this week to celebrate Rev. Susan's concecration as a Unity Minister. For our members who are unable to travel to Unity Village, the service will be streamed live on FaceBook.
This is a moment in our community life where we have the opportunity to celebrate together a sacred event. Just as with marriage, birth, death, young adulthood, this is a life passage to be celebrated and held up by community. It is a unifying moment, a precious moment and a joyous moment. From our time together this week I trust we wll bring back to our home at UOTA a deeper sense of commitment to living our Truth, and sharing our Love.
