Voices of Grief - Honoring the Sacred Journey

Join us at Unity on the Avenue for a special showing of the inspiring
documentary Voices of Grief – Honoring the Sacred Journey, on Tuesday,
October 27, at 5:00 p.m.

This powerful, 40-minute film explores the healing roles of community,
compassion, and connection as we navigate the sacred journey of grief
through heartfelt, personal stories of loss woven with wisdom from
contemporary authors, grief experts, and spiritual teachers

Following the documentary, you will have an opportunity to meet Robin
Gensburg, Grief Recovery Specialist, who will facilitate a six-week Grief
Recovery Program at UOTA. (Day and time to be determined.)

Using The Grief Recovery Handbook by John W. James and Russell
Friedman as a guide, participants will have an opportunity to explore their
grief in a safe, supportive environment, discover tools for healing, and
begin moving forward with greater peace and hope.

Grief is not limited to the death of a loved one. It can arise from divorce, the
end of a relationship, a move, the loss of a friendship, or any significant life
change that leaves us hurting. The Grief Recovery Method offers a
compassionate and practical path toward healing.

Whether your loss is recent or something you have carried in your heart for
years, you are welcome. Healing does not have to be a journey we walk
alone. We invite you to join us for an evening of understanding,
compassion, and connection as we honor the sacred journey of grief.

A suggested love offering of $5 per class is appreciated, along with the
purchase of The Grief Recovery Handbook. Financial assistance is
available. For questions or assistance with the cost of the program, please
contact Lori Smith at lsmith13151@gmail.com.
