On Sunday, November 1, children are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy a Trunk or Treat! First, the children are invited to attend Sunday School, where they will hear and discuss an age-appropriate spiritual lesson. After service, there will be a spirited Parade of Costumes in the sanctuary. Then the kids will head outside to collect goodies from trunks of UOTA congregants’ cars parked on the 17th Avenue median near the church. (Note: The children will be closely monitored while crossing the street and as they gather their treats. Parents are encouraged to help escort their little one/s during this event.
