Join us for an evening of sacred music and shared spiritual reflection on Friday, February 20, at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Nagar Kirtan Das, a Hare Krishna Spiritual Leader, will guide us in a Kirtan—chanting the names of God—accompanied by live music on the harmonium (wind instrument), mrdnga (drum), and kartals (hand cymbals).
Following the music, we will gather for a time of shared reflection on sacred texts from two traditions:
- Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 10: The Opulence of the Absolute
- The Bible, Psalm 100: A Psalm of Thanksgiving
The evening will conclude with a vegetarian feast, celebrating community, gratitude, and the joy of coming together.
This is a beautiful opportunity to experience the spiritual practices of another faith and to recognize the shared truths and Oneness of all beings.
There is no charge for this event. However, please be sure to sign the sheet at the back of the sanctuary so we can prepare enough food for everyone!
