The Winter Solstice marks the longest night and the shortest day of the year. Symbolically, this is a time of rebirth and renewal, where the sun, representing life and vitality, begins its journey back to prominence. It is a time our souls shine with warmth and love as we embrace the return of light.
This Sunday, December 17, at 10:30 a.m., UOTA’s regular musical guest Robert Anderson will present a special Winter Solstice service. “Join us for a heart-opening hour of music and friendship,” says Robert. “Count on laughing, some eye-misting, and several fun sing-alongs!”
We invite you to come celebrate the One Light that abides within, without, and through us, and hold prayerful space as we light the third candle of Advent, Love.
