This workshop is open to all UOTA members and friends, as well as the general community.
The schedule is as follows:
5:30-6:00 p.m. Finger sandwiches, and vegetable and fruit trays will be served in Fellowship Hall.
6:00-6:45 p.m. Participants will view the documentary film, “Voices of Grief, Honoring the Sacred Journey.”
6:45-7:30 p.m. Grief counselor Sue Farnsworth will process the video with the participants and present next steps for healing.
About Sue Farnsworth
Sue Farnsworth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the state of Colorado. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from University of California-Berkeley and her master’s in social work from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is currently the manager of the Bereavement and Volunteer Departments for the Denver Hospice.
Cost: $20 preregistration; $25 at the door. 50% of the profit will go for UOTA building maintenance; 50% will go to Denver Hospice, earmarked for Grief Groups for people needing healing.
