Pencil Box Project: Help a Child in Need
UOTA is once again partnering with the Child Rescue Foundation, Inc., on its annual Pencil Box Project, which collects school supplies to be distributed through Denver Kids Inc. Every year, hundreds of children impacted by violence and transition in Denver struggle to meet their basic back-to-school needs. They need your help!
For a list of supplies needed, click here. UOTA will be collecting supplies every Sunday from July 17 to August 7. Drop your items in the receptacle marked “Pencil Box Project.”
Also appreciated are Amazon and Office Depot gift cards, as well as monetary donations. Please place these gifts in an envelope marked “Pencil Box Project” and place the envelope in the offertory basket.
